AccyBuddy is an independent accountancy study application developed by SXdigital. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect information when you use AccyBuddy, our website and related services.

AccyBuddy currently uses Supabase for backend functionality including account authentication and database services.

AccyBuddy may display advertising to users of the free version of the app.

Depending on the advertising configuration used, advertising providers may process information such as device identifiers, advertising interactions, approximate location derived from technical information or information required to prevent advertising fraud.
Where consent is legally required for personalised advertising or associated tracking technologies, we will request consent before enabling that processing.
Premium users may receive an advertising-free experience.

We may use analytics and diagnostic tools to understand how AccyBuddy is used, identify technical errors, improve app performance and understand which features are useful.
8. Payments and subscriptions
If paid subscriptions or in-app purchases are offered, payments may be processed through Google Play or another authorised payment provider.
AccyBuddy does not normally receive your complete payment card details.

Deleting your account may permanently remove saved progress, bookmarks, mistakes, question history, analytics and other associated information.

AccyBuddy is intended primarily for students and adults studying professional accountancy qualifications and is not specifically designed for young children.
